WilderGo

An outdoor community app designed to help people stay connected, plan their adventures, and reach their community when they need support.

Why it exists

Outdoor plans can change quickly. People lose signal, get separated, or need a hand. WilderGo aims to bring planning, community, and support into one place for hikers, campers, road trippers, and other outdoor travelers.

What it helps people do

  • Plan ahead: Explore route and condition information before heading out.
  • Stay connected: Find community and keep in touch with trusted people.
  • Ask for support: Use Connected SOS to reach a selected network and community members who may be able to respond.

WilderGo is a community-support tool, not a replacement for emergency services. In an emergency, contact local emergency services whenever possible.

My role

I work on WilderGo’s iOS team, contributing to mobile features and troubleshooting the development workflow, including Xcode builds, CocoaPods dependencies, Metro bundling, and Expo Router issues.
